Welcome to the Northern Neck Montessori School! We are an independent school, established in 2008 by parents and educators with a deep belief and love of Montessori principles.  Located in Kilmarnock, Virginia, our school serves students ages 2 ½ through 9 in our Childrens House and Lower Elementary. We believe the best educational approach is one in which parents, teachers and children cooperate and support one another to foster a lifetime love of learning.    We promote a strong commitment to take care of each other, to nurture all living things and protect the environment. We believe each child is unique and has a distinctive learning style.  We provide the foundation in which to make them successful at their own pace. We want our children to grow into independent, gentle, responsible, peaceful people who develop a lifelong love of learning.
